Whatsapp will be rolling out new feature with the next update which includes tracking your friends’ location who are part a group, recall messages, and edit messages
How this works?
The geo tracking feature will be by default disabled which can be enabled to allow friends to locate you, which is really useful for the group members to gather at a common venue. Though why it’s been enabled for members of a whatsapp group and not peer to peer is not clear. Other features expected to roll out include the famous recall where you can recall a message sent before the other person reads it and also an opportunity to edit your response on a message which gives ample of opportunity to keep the conversation going by correcting the mistakes in real time giving more freedom in a messaging app.
The dynamics of features that whatsapp would provide its users represents and compliments the loyalty and user centric nature of an app that stays at the top in the market.
All said and done, it’s only a matter of time till we get that latest update to try hands on keeping an eye on your friend.

Blue Origins, a company owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has successfully relanded its reusable rocket for the 3rd time. Jeff Bezos himself tweeted about the success on April 2nd. Blue Origins which is in competition with Elon Musk’s space X in the reusable rocket race, always have kept their findings and work under wraps and only surfaces when something remarkable marks their achievement.

Space X however have livestreamed their launch on several occasions. Blue Origins rocket engine started at above 3600 feet above ground before landing. Even though Blue Origins has been successful in launching reusable rockets into space, Space X has raised the bar by successfully launching reusable rockets and putting them into Orbit last December.

Ever since Elon Musk unveiled the Tesla Model 3, which is the first among the affordable range of cars under its wings, there has been speculation about whether the electric car manufacturing giant can keep their promise of delivering 200,000 plus vehicles, out of which 100,000 vehicles were pre-booked before they knew how the car would look like.

Besides the Model 3, Tesla is manufacturing couple of other models including sedan Model S and XUV Model X which are assembled in the same plant in Fremont, California. The plant has a manufacturing capacity of 500,000 vehicles annually, but the company is currently using only a part of it. Given that the electric car manufacturing/assembly is not as complicated as a regular car with an internal combustion engine. The promise on the quality of the car demands more from Tesla.

The Model 3 will be delivered by late 2017 or early 2018. It is priced at $35,000.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates kept tab of work hours of employees by memorizing their car number plates.

In an interview to BBC Radio he said “I worked weekends, I didn’t really believe in vacations. I had to be a little careful not to try and apply my standards to how hard others worked. I knew everybody’s number plate so I could look out the parking lot and see, you know, when people come in. Eventually I had to loosen up as the company got to a reasonable size”

This shows how aggressively he pursued success.

Gates stepped down as the CEO of Microsoft in 2000 and stepped down as the company’s chairman in 2014.

Google to deliver faster web pages over mobile by Feb 2016. Accelerated mobile pages(AMP) – project by google has been tested over pinterest and is proven that the web pages loads 4 times faster and consumes 8 times less data than the traditional mobile responsive pages.

Further platforms like Twitter, Vine, WordPress,  are partnering for the AMP project.

In this era where major source of information consumption is through mobile has proved that on the go is the mantra for any internet business to survive. Given this there are major challenges for these service providers like the speed at which the traditional pages loading on a mobile will drastically decrease the amount of users. The less the number of users means less people viewing ads, which is a major source of revenue to provide the content free of cost for most of the internet based businesses.
